Wilpshire

When we arrived today at Wilpshire GC the weather was threatening to spoil the day, but once again our Captain had a word with the gods and the clouds parted to give us a rain free day on a slightly undulating course!

Well done to all the matchplay winners and commiserations to the losers!

Thanks to my playing partners for getting me through the day. Colin D especially had a good knock and it went down to the wire between Lee and Dan with the latter winning 2&1.

Sorry to El Capitan for trying to confuse you with the scores especially after your fine effort to try and avoid the spoon🥄

Thanks guys for a great day and I’m now going to soak in the bath to get rid of all the aches and pains👊
