Ellesmere Golf Club

Another glorious day of sunshine and golf at Ellesmere last Sunday, a good turnout as always.

 

After my first hole where I didn’t score, I thought ‘here we go’, but after a mediocre front nine with 14 points, playing partner Steve Davies gave me a confidence boost when he said he thought my golf swing was great! Subsequently, I managed 20 points on the back nine!

 

I want to thank my playing partners for having a good game even though Steve managed to whack John Aylward in the ankle on the 17th (ouch)!

 

Congrats to all the matchplay winners especially our kid, Glassback Barry!

 

Commiserations to Paul Foode beaten on a countback!
